We are pleased to extend an invitation for you to join us at the next “Going Global” International Trade Forum. Eileen Mathews will discuss the importance of securing international patents and trademarks and the process for obtaining these intellectual property rights. We begin at 7:30am and will end by 9:00am on Friday, July 10th. We meet at Kent State University Tuscarawas in room 113 of the Science and Advanced Technology Center. The campus is located at 330 University Drive, New Philadelphia, 44663. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. There is no charge to attend.
Eileen Mathews is an associate at the law firm of Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP in downtown Cleveland and has an office in Shanghai, China. Benesch attorneys specialize in several areas of law including corporate law, intellectual property law, labor and employment, litigation and several other areas. Eileen specializes in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, legal opinions (patent clearance and non-infringement opinions), and also licensing. She is a 1996 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. Prior to law school Eileen worked eight years in the Polymer Industry, primarily at GE Plastics.
